FAQ

The most common questions.

Do I need to be wealthy to start a private banking system?

No. The Infinite Banking Concept is a method of financing, not a minimum net worth. What it requires is stable income, a long time horizon (typically seven or more years), and the discipline to repay your policy loans on your own terms. A well-designed policy can begin with modest monthly premiums and grow into a system that funds cars, education, business needs, and retirement income over a lifetime.

Is this whole life insurance against the stock market?

No — and that is the most common misunderstanding. This is not whole life versus your investments. It is whole life versus wherever you keep your money today: a bank account, a money market fund, a CD. Your policy becomes the engine that funds your investments; it does not compete with them. Comparing a guaranteed cash value account to the S&P 500 is the wrong comparison, because they do different jobs.

What exactly is “guaranteed”?

We use “guaranteed” to mean a contractual promise from the issuing life insurance company — not a market forecast. A properly designed participating whole life policy offers four guarantees: guaranteed cash value growth, a guaranteed death benefit, level (never-rising) premiums, and a guaranteed minimum interest rate. Dividends, when declared by a mutual company, are additional and not guaranteed, but the leading mutual carriers have paid them for 100 to 160+ consecutive years.

How quickly can I access my money?

A policy loan requires no application, no credit check, and no banker’s approval. You request the funds and they are typically available within a few business days. Because you are borrowing against your own collateral, the insurer cannot deny the loan or ask what it is for. You set the repayment schedule.

What about taxes?

Cash value grows tax-deferred. You can access it through policy loans without triggering current income tax. And a death benefit generally passes to an individual beneficiary income-tax-free. These advantages hold while the policy remains in force and is not a Modified Endowment Contract (MEC). This is education, not tax advice — please consult a qualified tax professional.

I already own a whole life policy. Can you review it?

Yes. Most policies sold in this country are poorly designed for banking. We offer a free, no-obligation review of your existing policy to see how much of your premium is going to paid-up additions, what your surrender values look like, and whether the policy can be repositioned to do the work you want it to do.
